A few spotty thunderstorms stay in the area in the morning, with temperatures reaching the low 70s by around 9 a.m. Towards the afternoon, our spotty thunderstorms will stay around with partly cloudy skies, leading to high temperatures in the mid-80s. More isolated thunderstorms are expected in the later evening hours, with temperatures remaining in the upper 70s by around 9 p.m. Average temperatures for this time of the year are in the mid-80s for highs and mid-60s for lows. EXTENDED FORECAST:

Looking long-range, we will see some isolated thunderstorms on Wednesday, with temperatures remaining in the mid-80s. By Thursday, there will be plenty of sunshine with highs in the upper 80s. Humidity will start to rise on Friday, along with the temperatures leading to upper 80s to low to mid-90s across the area this weekend. A few isolated thunderstorms are possibly on Saturday morning, but nothing severe at this point in time. By Monday, temperatures slightly lower into the low 90s, sticking with plenty of sunshine. By Tuesday, we start to see our temperatures back in the near-normal range with plenty of sunshine and more reasonable humidity levels. Stay hydrated this week!
