The forecast for Monday calls for temperatures in the mid-80s, with scattered thunderstorms leaving by early afternoon. Clouds will start to decrease afterward, leading to partly cloudy skies. Winds will remain calm from the WNW at 5-10 MPH.
LOCAL FORECAST:
A few spotty thunderstorms are forecast for Monday morning, with temperatures approaching the mid-70s by mid-morning. Once these storms clear out, skies will turn partly cloudy, with highs near 86°. Conditions remain dry for the evening and into the overnight hours, with temperatures in the upper 70s by around 9 pm. Average temperatures for this time of the year are in the mid-80s for highs and upper mid-60s for lows. REGIONAL FORECAST FOR MONDAY:
The regional forecast for Monday shows a variety of temperatures across the state. Grand Forks will see temperatures in the mid-70s, while Fargo will be in the upper 70s. Bemidji and Hibbing will both experience mid-70s. Brainerd and Morris will be warmer, reaching the low 80s. The Twin Cities area, including St. Cloud, Hutchinson, and Mankato, will have temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Rochester and La Crosse will also be warm, with temperatures in the mid-80s. We will have slightly cooler temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s along Lake Superior. Overall, the region will experience mostly warm conditions, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to the upper 80s.

SEVERE OUTLOOK FOR MONDAY:
As of Sunday afternoon, the Storm Prediction Center has the Twin Cities metro and areas south under a slight risk of severe weather for Monday. Portions of northern and northeastern Minnesota are under a marginal risk of severe weather, including the cities of Duluth, Ely, and St. Cloud.
